Best Medical Communications Company 2024
GHP Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Awards 2024
From its home base in the heart of London’s beautiful Covent Garden, MediComm Partners Ltd provides an encompassing range of medical communications services to the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Comprised of an expert team, with every member having at least 25 years of first-hand experience across every phase of the drug development lifecycle, this small, boutique company is able to work closely with its clients to achieve the best results, going beyond the usual confines of the customer-client relationship to instead become an integral member of its clients’ teams.
“We urge companies to go with experts, we are doing it all the time and can manage tasks quickly and efficiently. In the long run, it is much more cost-effective to use an expert.”
– Helen Bishop, Director
MediComm’s comprehensive services span every aspect of the drug development process, from liaising with the health authorities concerning regulation to offering support in publishing data and results in medical journals, managing scientific meetings both internally and externally, and creating branded and visual content, to name just a few. Across this service suite, the company strives to deliver work of the highest standards, something which it achieves through its immense knowledge and collaborative, hands-on approach to projects.
The company has secured work with a range of healthcare and pharmaceutical organisations across the globe as a result of its tailored solutions, including the likes of Aurinia Pharma, Morphosys, Dianthus Therapeutics, Anocca, Mission Therapeutics, Greywolf Therapeutics and Omniac Pharm Consult. Dr Zahid Bashir from the latter organisation shares: “I have been impressed by the professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail shown by the team. All the projects have been delivered on time and budget but without compromising the quality of the final product.”

Founded back in 2016, there is not much the company has not seen over the past eight years, and even less that its team as a whole have not experienced across their several decades of combined experience. Thus, from the fantastic graphic designers whose content is concise, accurate, and aesthetically pleasing, through to the senior team who strive to know all clients on a first-hand basis and fully understand the requirements of every project, this is a company upholding its stellar reputation at every turn.
This is something reflected in the company’s tagline – Understanding Pharma. Trusted to Deliver – which highlights MediComm’s unique ability to hop into a project at any phase and hit the ground running, turning out measurable results in almost no time at all. On the back of this sustained excellence, it is no surprise that the company has a track record of publishing articles for clients in some of the most esteemed medical journals, such as The Lancet and the New England Journal of Medicine, further solidifying its standing.
Despite the unwavering quality of the services provided by MediComm and other such medical communications experts, the state of the economy at present has seen many companies turn to outsourcing contract research organisations (CROs) in an attempt to reduce cost. Although this may seem like a wise investment, CROs are both expensive and often very general in their approach, meaning it is highly unlikely that an external company will achieve the same level of results as this team, making the method much less efficient overall.
With many well-written regulatory documents leading to successful outcomes under its belt, countless professional and unique scientific posters created, and an endless amount of advisory board meetings supported, MediComm is now eagerly looking towards the future. Having worked with two new clients already this year, the company is excited to work with more and expand across every area of its multifaceted operation – from clinical development and pharmacovigilance to providing detailed regulatory support.
Reflecting on this award, Director Helen Bishop takes the time to thank all of the loyal, valued clients that MediComm has had the pleasure of working with over the past eight years, as well as to thank the dedicated, knowledgeable teams right across the business, without whom, none of this would be possible. It is the strength of the team at MediComm Partners Ltd that has ultimately resulted in the business being recognised as the Best Medical Communications Company 2024, and we wish it all the best for 2025 and beyond.
